Reminder that the Bosom Buddies Walk and the Taste of East Aurora will take place this Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Bosom Buddies Walk starts at 9:00 AM and is expected to end around noon. There is a choice of 3 courses for the Walk which involves most of the streets in the Village. It will start and end from the Time Warner Classic Rink on Riley Street. The Taste of East Aurora involves over 25 restaurants set up on Main Street between Elm/Riley and Olean/Pine Streets. Hours are from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Note that Main St. will be closed between Elm/Riley & Olean/Pine Streets between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Detour routes will be marked. Expect heavy pedestrian traffic throughout the day. Please use caution and mind the parking regulations, as it needs to be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of the public in the event of an emergency or to maintain traffic flow. If parked on Main St. between Riley & Pine St. please remove your car by 7:00 AM Saturday morning so setup can take place. Go to East Aurora Chamber of Commerce for more information.
