WPD seeking assistance in locating whereabouts of missing 71 year old woman from E. Washington area. 
The Washington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and confirming the safety of:
LORRAINE “LAURIE” BLAKNEY age 71
East Washington, NH.
Blakney’s family reports that she suffers from changes in mental acuity which has led to her not being invited to return to a religious mission for children in Ethiopia after many years of participation. On Thursday September 12 after burning some personal effects she told her son to prepare to carry out instructions that were in place for her passing. She left the house and secured the door so family was delayed in getting out. It is unclear if she left on foot or was picked up by someone.
Blakney is 5 feet tall with a very slight build, about 115 pounds. She has shoulder length white, frizzy hair. She usually wears a black cape and oversize, flowing dresses similar with the style that Amish and Mennonite women wear. She is often times barefoot or wearing flip flops.
