Elkhart County – State police are continuing their investigation into the crash that occurred last night on the Indiana Toll Road around 10:15 p.m. near Bristol. The accident claimed the life of a Nebraska man, Shawn W. Young, 44, of Aurora, after he crashed his car into the rear of a stopped semi tractor trailer.
Purportedly, traffic had been backed up on the road due to an earlier truck fire near the 97 mile marker. A witness claimed that Young never slowed down prior to colliding with the truck.
