Full Notification

The Pulaski Fire Department was called to the jail after a report of a small fire in a booking room cell but correction officers had already extinguished the fire upon their arrival. The Fire department assisted with smoke evacuation. A partial evacuation of inmates from the jail was performed as a precaution. No injuries were reported but one inmate and one officer were checked out at the emergency room for precautionary measures. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the jail has been restored to full operation.
