Ontwa Township - Edwardsburg Police has an important message for the community!

Chief Wray advises to have the local residents to keep and eye out for Kirby Vacuum Salesmen this could be a group of scam artist.

It was reported on that there is a group of salesmen going around selling Kirby Vacuum's that are not a licensed dealer representative. Ask for I.D.'s and make a note of their information.
If they show up at your house please be polite if they don't have I.D.'s then tell them that your are not interested and then call the Police to respond. See if you can get a description of the vehicle and direction of travel and give it to the dispatcher when you call. Any help you can give police will help others.

Always be on the alert for scams.
Remember if its too good to be true it probably is.

If they tell you a member of your family is in trouble, try contacting that person or his nearest relative and see if they really are in trouble or if they know where that person really is. Never wire money to an unknown location or person to help someone you do know.
