Full Notification

On 09/25/2013, the FBI Office in Pittsburgh received information concerning a possible threat against "a middle school". Although the threat was unspecified and no particular school identified, their investigation led them to further investigate a resident of Jefferson Hills. Because of this local connection, the West Jefferson Hills School District was notified. Additionally, both the Jefferson Hills and Pleasant Hills Police Departments increased their presence around the District Schools today while the investigation was ongoing.

The FBI has subsequently concluded there is not, nor was there, any credible threat against any school.
