INFORMATION SOUGHT IN JEWELRY STORE THEFT
ARUNDEL MILLS MALL

On September 24, 2013, at approximately 2:01 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover for a reported theft from the Ultra Diamonds jewelry store.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the manager, who stated the suspect carrying a yellow plastic bag entered the business and looked through the display cases. When he reached the watch display case, the suspect pulled a hammer from the yellow bag and broke the display glass. The suspect proceeded to take three expensive “Rolex” watches from the display case and fled the store on foot meeting up with a second suspect. The two suspects left the mall and ran toward the parking lot.

Officers saturated the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

There was no assault or injuries reported of store employees.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is attempting to locate any potential witnesses who were in the store at the time of this incident.

Suspect #1: Black male, 17-23 years of age, 5’5”- 5’9” with long dread lock style hair, wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a yellow plastic bag.

Suspect #2: Black male, 17-23 years of age, 5’9”-6’0” with a beard, wearing a baseball cap, a dark-colored shirt and blue jeans
