The Ontwa Township - Edwardsburg Police is releasing information about a recent Scam that was attempted in the Township of Ontwa activity near your address.

The Ontwa Township - Edwardsburg Police received a complaint of an attempted Scam attempted by two white males stating that they work for a Giant Tool Company. They were driving a Green Dodge Pickup with Giant Tools printed on the sides of the vehicle. They attempted to sell a large Generator by saying that they had just attended a large show where the tools in their truck where used for show. One a large generator other tools included a welder and an air compressor. That their Boss told them to sell the equipment or give it away for what they could get. They were asking for about $ 6,000 for the Generator and they would give the other equipment to the person that bought the Generator. They were asking for a credit card to be used. Scam for the credit card information. Equipment appeared to be newer equipment.
DONT BE SCAMED CALL THE POLICE IF THIS ATTEMPTED
