Reminder: We will continue to utilize a safe propane cannon in the are of Merrifield/Ritchie Rd area to try and remove nuisance buzzards from the public safety communications tower. This will only be done on a limited, as needed basis and will not be used daily or at an aggressive rate of speed. Please don't be alarmed by the sound of a few loud blasts that will occur shortly this morning. We have re-directed the cannon to blast away from the homes in the immediate area to minimize the noise. There may be two or three blasts within a few moments of each other per day.
