Chapelgate shooting Vehicle of Interest in Video ID'd, but still looking for Crown Vic or Mercury Marquis...
UPDATE:
Based on a tip received from the community, and investigative efforts, the vehicle in the video still attached to this message has since been identified, located and has been ELIMINATED as the vehicle of interest in the case;
HOWEVER, THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS STILL LOOKING FOR THE VEHICLE THAT WAS SEEN LEAVING THE AREA AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED THE NIGHT OF THE SHOOTING. That vehicle was described as a maroon/red Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis with tinted windows.
ORIGINAL INCIDENT:
On September 23, 2013, shots were fired into a home in the 600 block of Cadbury Drive in Odenton. Subsequently, a toddler was struck in the face by flying debris. A black male in his late teens to early 20’s, approximately 5’10”- 6’0” with a slim build, wearing dark pants, a two tone lightweight jacket (black shoulders with grey coloring on the rest), and a black knit cap, was seen running from the scene with a gun in his hand. After the shots were fired, a red/maroon vehicle with tinted windows was seen speeding out of the area.
