Giles County Sheriff's Narcotics Investigators and Special Response Team executed a drug search warrant on McGrew Street in Pulaski shortly after midnight on October First.
The officers arrested thirty year old Marcus T. Smith and contacted the Department of Children Services about the children in the home. Smith was charged with possession of crack cocaine for resale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in the Giles County Jail with a bond set at $82,000.
Smith is reported to have pending charges in Alabama. Officers seized 2.0 grams of crack cocaine, 2.8 grams of marijuana and $1,021.00 in cash.
The case is still under investigation and other charges may be forthcoming.
