Community Traffic Alert for Friday, October 4, 2013
Lake Lure Police Department would like to advise you that if you are traveling in the area of Memorial Highway and Burgess Fruit Stand, Friday, October 4th, between 8am and 12noon to please be cautious and alert.
A construction company will be lifting and placing two manufactured home pieces onto its foundation during this time.
While they do not anticipate the closing of the road, there may be a brief period of doing so and/or moving traffic onto one lane. Should they need to take these measures they have assured us that it will not be for more than a few minutes.
We appreciate you being courteous and cautious as a new home comes into our town.
