TPD serves Criminal Summons on subject charged with CDS possession and paraphernalia.

On September 18, 2013 at approximately 3:30am, a Thurmont Police Officer initiated a traffic stop in the unit block of Tacoma Street in Thurmont. While conversing with the operator of the vehicle, the officer noticed that a female passenger was passed out in the vehicle. The operator advised that the female had consumed too much alcoholic beverages. The officer began to check the passenger’s welfare and determined that she needed medical attention. While obtaining the female’s identification, the officer discovered the female to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and a CDS smoking device. The female was transported by ambulance for medical treatment. The officer identified the female as: Kristen Amber Dryman, age 19, of Thurmont, and charged her on a Criminal Summons with: Possession of CDS (Marijuana), and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. The Criminal Summons was served on Ms. Dryman on September 29, 2013.
