Do you have questions about the new Affordable Care Act and how it affects you and your family? Join the experts from San Ysidro Health Center and Family Health Centers of San Diego at informative workshops. Choose from several free convenient sessions. Workshops will be presented on Wednesday, October 16 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, and October 23 from 5 to 6:30 pm at the Civic Center Branch Auditorium, Or join us at the South Chula Vista Branch on Thursday Oct 10, Thursday Oct 17 or Thursday, Oct 24 from 2 pm to 6 pm.

You can also take advantage of free shots for flu and shingles this month. Health and Human Services Agency, in partnership with the Chula Vista Library, will be offering free flu vaccinations on October 10th from 1-6 pm at the Civic Center Branch. Come visit the library and protect you and your family from illness. Flu vaccinations will be available for adults, youth and children (6 months and older) until supplies last. Or come to the free flu and shingles clinic, sponsored by Rite-Aid, on Wednesday October 23 from 1 pm to 3 pm, at the Civic Center Library.
