The Flash Flood Watch remains in effect tonight for Hardin County until 2am Monday, October 7th.
*BANDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG AND AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THESE BANDS OF PRECIPITATION. THIS WILL INCREASE THE RISK FOR FLASH FLOODING. THE THREAT FOR HEAVY RAINFALL WILL END AS THE FRONT PASSES ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

**A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS... CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
