Public help needed in locating homicide suspect

Police need the public’s help locating a suspect in a recent homicide. Paul A. Lewis Jr. has a warrant for his arrest for second-degree murder in the beating death of Zachery McClenton. McClenton was found deceased in a vacant lot near 45th and Virginia the morning of Sept. 28. Anyone with information on Lewis’s whereabouts should contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or the KCPD Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043. Lewis is a 22-year-old black male. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. His photo is attached. If you encounter him, do not attempt to detain him. Contact police immediately.
