Two FPD K-9s Receive Top 20 Ranking at National Field Trials
Franklin Police remains dedicated to excellence

Franklin, TN – Last week two of the Franklin Police Department’s K-9 teams received multiple awards at the United States Police Canine Association Police Dog National Field Trials, held in Clinton, MD. The event features police canine teams from across the United States.

Officer Brett Spivy and his partner Axel won 20th place overall, while receiving 1st place each in Obedience and Agility, along with 2nd Place in Criminal Apprehension. The duo also received the Patrick Cahill Award for the highest combined scores in obedience and criminal apprehension.

Sergeant Aaron Compton and his partner Thor received 6th place overall, along with 5th place in each Criminal Apprehension and Agility.
