5 suspects arrested after string of residential break-ins
On Monday 10-14-13, members of the NCSO responded to an unusually high number of residential break-ins throughout the county beginning with several outside of the Spring Hope area, Momeyer, Red Oak, and the Hickory area. The MO to these break-ins were all very similiar with front and rear doors to the homes being kicked in and numerous items stolen. These break-ins began around 0800hrs, and continued into the afternoon.
After a diligent investigative effort by several members of the NCSO, a suspect vehicle and several suspects were developed. After searching throughout the night, five suspects were located and apprehended in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
