LAKE LURE POLICE UNCOVER MARIJUANA GROW
Sunday, October 13, 2013 at approximately 6pm a traffic stop was conducted by Corporal Cory Hill, Sergeant Chris Shuford and Patrol Officers Zach Walker and Andy Greenway on Island Creek Road at Londonberry Drive.
This vehicle stop led to a subsequent search of the driver’s vehicle and home.
Upon finding Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and an operations set up for the distribution of Marijuana, Christopher L. Prelle, DOB 10/19/81 of Londonberry Drive was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Maintaining Vehicle/Dwelling/Place that was used for keeping and selling controlled substance Marijuana, Possessing Methamphetamine, Possessing Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving while the Defendant’s Drivers License was Revoked.
Mr. Prelle was placed in the custody of Rutherford County Detention Facility on a $33,500 Bond.
