Join us at Chula Vista’s Civic Center Branch Library on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 pm for a free performance of "Journey of the Skeletons", a Dia de los Muertos play, written by Max Branscomb, directed by Hector Rivera, and presented by Day of the Dead Theatre. “Journey of the Skeletons” is an award-winning multicultural comedy that explains the beautiful Day of the Dead tradition. When Memo, a Latino angel, invites his friends back to Earth to visit his family’s alter, they have to trek through dangerous Mictlan, the Aztec underworld. Their perilous but uplifting journey leads them into a conflict with the deadly Aztec Prince of Darkness, the evil Miclantecutli. This popular family show is energetic, fun and educational.
