Four Suspects Charged in Fry's Burglary
On August 8, 2012, over $150,000 worth of Apple products were stolen from the Fry’s Electronics in Campbell. Detectives spent months investigating the burglary and wrote nine search warrants associated with the case. Detectives were able to recover several of the stolen iPads and as well as proceeds from the stolen products.
Four suspects were identified as being part of the burglary crew responsible for the burglary:
Lawrence Epperson, 26 years old of Bay Point
Jermaine Price, 32 years old of San Leandro
Victor Penney, 39 years old of Oakland
Donald Hornes, 29 years old of Oakland
Detectives determined that the involved suspects were a part of a motorcycle gang that was responsible for other similar burglaries from California to Virginia. After presenting the evidence to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, each of the four suspects were charged with two counts of Burglary, one count of Grand Theft and a gang enhancement.
Victor Penney and Jermaine Price are currently in-custody, however, Lawrence Epperson and Donald Hornes are currently at-large with felony arrest warrants out for their arrest.
