Quality training produces positive results
Franklin, TN – Franklin Police Sergeant Scott Butler had excellence in his sights, the sights of his Glock pistol, to be precise. He returned to work this week with honors from the International Defensive Pistol Association Tennessee State Championship Tournament held in Manchester this past weekend.
For the fourth year in a row, Sergeant Butler was awarded the High Law Enforcement Award. He also won the Champion trophy in the Master Class Stock Service Pistol Competition. “I am honored to represent the Franklin PD during events that focus on both accuracy and safety,” said Sergeant Butler. “I feel privileged to work for an agency that supports my continued dedication to the field of firearms and firearm safety.” Sergeant Butler is a 16-year Franklin Police veteran.
