With Halloween just over a week away, here are some DO's and DON'T's for safe Trick-or-Treating:

DO's:
- DO wear brightly colored clothing
- DO Trick-or-Treat at homes you know
- DO Trick-or-Treat during hours authorized by your community*
- DO have an adult inspect your candy before you eat it
- DO say "thank you" after receiving a treat

DON'Ts:
- DON'T let children Trick-or-Treat alone
- DON'T knock or ring doorbells more than twice
- DON'T go inside homes
- DON'T wear masks which make it hard to see

*Please be advised that Trick-or-Treating hours in the Village of Worth are 4pm - 7pm, on Halloween, Thursday, October 31, 2013.
