Halloween Trick or Treaters - Please Be Careful 
Lake Lure Police Department would like to remind you that if you are out and about driving tonight, to use caution while driving on our town streets as well as in Chimney Rock Village, where their annual Trick or Treating event will take place on Main Street.
While there will be activity in Chimney Rock before and after the scheduled Trick or Treating time of 5pm to 7pm, we ask that you be especially cautious of pedestrians walking on and crossing Main Street during this time.
Parents please also remember to check your gobblins bags for anything that may be harmful or hazardous.
