Suspicious activity - Possible burglary suspect 
Both the Burlington and South Police Departments are asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods. Recently, both cities have received complaints of people going door to door claiming to be landscapers willing to rake leaves or do other work. This type of activity may be used to identify unoccupied homes and possible targets for burglary. Police believe these individuals may be connected to recent burglaries. The Burlington Police and South Burlington Police would like to remind the public that most legitimate businesses do not advertise door to door.
The most recent suspect was described as a white male, short blonde messy hair, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, skinny with a silver jacket with orange stripes.
Call police immediately if you see any suspicious activity in your neighborhood. 911 for emergencies or 846-4111 for regular police business.
