Recently there have been a number of daytime residential burglaries in the area surrounding Macungie. Residents are reminded to be vigilant of anyone or anything suspicious in their neighborhoods. No one is better aware of what "belongs" in a neighborhood than the residents themselves. If you see anything that appears suspicious, call 911 immediately. Stay on the line with the dispatcher so that you could relay important information to the responding officers regarding what you see happening. Do NOT take any action yourself.
