On Wednesday evening, November 6, 2013, around 7:45 p.m., Warsaw Police were called to the area of Shamrock Mobile Home Park on the north side of Warsaw for the odor of chemicals. Narcotic’s officers located the source of the odor coming from lot #89. Through an open window, the officers observed an active one pot Meth lab being tended to. Warsaw Police detained a brother and sister from the residence. Anthony J. Hackworth, 27 years old, of Warsaw, IN., was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on class B felony charges of Dealing/Delivering/Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Chemical Reagents or Precursors with intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine. He was being held on $2,000 surety bond.
Police also arrested Jessica J. England, 33 years old, of Warsaw, IN., for Visiting a Common Nuisance involving Dangerous Drugs. She was being held on a $350 cash bond.
The clandestine lab team cleaned up the scene. Warsaw Police were assisted by Indiana State Police, Winona Lake Police Department, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
