Detectives Announce Suspect in Grand Theft at Raging Waters, San Dimas is in Custody
Parks Bureau Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have arrested Randy Sandoval the suspect wanted in the Grand Thefts that occurred at Raging Waters, San Dimas on September 22, 2013. The water park was closed to the public on the date the incident occurred for a private party.
On October 17, 2013 Detectives gave pictures and descriptions of the suspects to the public. The responses to that resulted in the arrest of a seventeen year-old female and the identification of Randy Sandoval as the suspect. Detectives found that Mr. Sandoval and the seventeen year-old female unlawfully gained entry into Raging Waters.
On, November 11, 2013, Detective Janice Banks received information that Mr. Sandoval was being detained by Alhambra Police Department. Detective Banks found that personnel from Alhambra P.D. had just released him. She explained the situation and they checked the area and found Mr. Sandoval near the station and detained him pending Detective Banks arrival.
Randy Sandoval was booked at Palmdale Sheriff Station and is being held in lieu of $60,000.00 bail.
Additionally, Mr. Sandoval’s sister, Debbie Sandoval, female, Hispanic, 28 years-of-age and resident of El Monte was arrested for being an accessory to the theft. She was also booked at Palmdale Sheriff Station and is being held in lieu of $20,000.00 bail.
The stolen property in this incident has not yet been recovered.
