City of Ripon Winter Parking Restrictions in effect 11/15/13 thru 3/31/2014 
The City of Ripon's Winter Parking restrictions go into effect at 3:00 a.m. on 11-15-2013. No Parking is allowed on any City Street between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from 11-15-2013 through March 31, 2014 by City Ordinance for the purpose of snow removal.
Residential parking permits, that allows overnight parking, in front of privately owned residences in the City are available from City Hall. If snowfall is predicted @ 2 inches or more, these vehicles must also be off the street, but otherwise allows for overnight parking.
The Police Department is able to give permission for vehicles to park overnight, if necessary, a total of 3 times for the period 11-15-2013 to 3-31-14 and will give permission if snow is not scheduled to accumulate to 2 inches or more. Permission may be obtained by calling the Police Department @ 748-2888.
