We have received a few reports of suspicious activity involving unlocked vehicles, particularly in the Sugar Loaf area. Please report any suspicious activity immediately and review the following suggestions to increase security.
1. Always lock your doors and roll up your windows when you park.
2. Activate your security system if you have one.
3. Avoid using the console or glove box as mobile lock boxes, since these are obvious to thieves, too.
4. Park in a well-lit area or near a lamppost whenever possible.
5. The trunk of a vehicle is a more secure area to keep valuables, but interior trunk releases are more common now, which defeats the security of this option.
