The continued widespread power outages will continue with restoration estimates ranging from Tuesday noon to Friday evening.
Temperatures expected to fall to a low of 27 tonight and a high of 41 tomorrow. Winds expected to remain strong. Please extreme caution with wood burning or other solid fueled heating appliances as winds can create a severe fire risk with the potential of compromising chimney liners.
Carbon monoxide risk with gasoline fueled generators can be extremely dangerous as well.
Contact the Red Cross for shelter information a they are considering opening a shelter in Dowagiac.
Shelters may be opening in Elkhart county as well.
