One of our City employees received an email scam from CITIBANK DEPARTMENT. The email states that the employee is owed money and they can receive their money if they provide a list of personal information, identification and bank account information. NEVER provide personal information or bank account information to unknown parties. They are almost always scams and if you provide this information they can steal your identity. If their is ever a question of legitimacy please contact local authorities.
