The National Weather Service Office in Grand Rapids confirms EF-0 tornado touched Ingham County

A brief EF-0 tornado touchdown occurred near the intersection of Tuttle Rd. and Annis Rd. in Leslie Township on Sunday 11/17/13.
A damage survey was conducted by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office - Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, with the final determination of a brief tornado touchdown being made by the National Weather Service.
Damage to roofing and tress occurred at three locations in the path of this brief tornado. In addition, lawn furniture and steps from a wrap-around deck was tossed and scattered. A large outdoor shed was shifted and a garage heavily damaged.
A roof was torn off a pole barn in the immediate area as well as shingles and siding to a few residences. A pop-up camper was also destroyed.
