Palmyra Borough Police would like to inform motorists traveling along Cherry Street from Lingle Avenue to Forge Road that they will notice DIAGONAL ROAD MARKINGS along the shoulder at the following intersections:

1) Cherry Street and Lingle Avenue
2) Cherry Street and Railroad Street
3) Cherry Street and Forge Road

These DIAGONAL ROAD MARKINGS are an indication that turning movements SHALL NOT be made from the shoulder of Cherry street. This area is NOT a lane, it is the shoulder of the roadway. In the very near future those areas will also be posted with signs that state "NO TURNS FROM SHOULDER".

Palmyra Borough Police will be strictly enforcing the regulation at these intersections.
