Councilmember Mike Bornin and the City of Los Angeles are offering a $50,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsable for the murder of Guillermo “Memo” Carmona-Perez. A photo of the victim is attached to the second page of this release.

24-Year-Old Dies After Being Stabbed in The Streets of Venice
Detectives Looking for Any Clues that May Lead to an Arrest
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for the stabbing and killing of a young man.
On November 18, 2013, around 12:15 a.m., Pacific patrol officers were flagged down by a citizen at Washington Boulevard and Pacific Avenue. Officers observed a male lying in the street with what appeared to be a stab wound.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported 24-year-old Guillermo Perez, a resident of Venice, to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives are seeking help from the community on this case. Citizens and Businesses located near the scene are urged to contact LAPD if they have any information regarding this incident.
