Full Notification

On November 23, 2013 at approximately 11:04am Coal Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a fully engulfed garage fire at 9798 North Old State Road 55. A body was located inside the garage after the fire was extinguished. Law enforcement and the Montgomery County Coroner were contacted. The victim was identified as Roy J. Bunnell (95 years of age), 9798 North Old State Road 55 Wingate, IN. The cause of the fire and ensuing fatality is under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Montgomery County Coroner.
