Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was discovered on Sunday, November 24, 2013, in the 14300 block of Alondra Boulevard, La Mirada.

Detectives have learned that at approximately 6:10 PM, a driver of a Metro bus was traveling westbound on Alondra Boulevard before slowing at a bus stop. The driver noticed a man laying in a pool of blood in the gutter of the roadway near the bus stop. The driver alerted Norwalk Sheriff's Station and deputies responded.

The male adult was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coroner's Office will determine the identity of the man and cause of death.
