...Winter Weather advisory in effect until 5 AM EST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Winter Weather advisory for freezing Rain which is in effect until 5 AM EST Wednesday.

* Locations...Northern Litchfield County...Western Massachusetts...Southern Vermont...The Lake George and Northern Saratoga region.

* Snow and sleet accumulations...Snow and sleet accumulations of up to 1 inch.

* Hazard types...A mixture of Snow...Sleet and freezing Rain.

* Ice accumulations...A coating to a tenth of an inch.

* Maximum snowfall rates...Up to a half an inch in an hour.

* Timing...A wintry Mix of precipitation will occur this evening and continue into tonight. The precipitation May changeover to Plain Rain in the Early morning hours. The precipitation will be heavy at times.

* Impacts...The combination of Snow...Sleet and freezing Rain could Lead to treacherous travel conditions.

* Winds...Southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures...In the lower 30s Rising into the 40s.

A Winter Weather advisory Means that periods of Snow...Sleet...Or freezing Rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery Roads and limited visibilities...And use caution while driving.
