Retail Theft

The Vermillion Police Department seeks your assistance with identifying a theft suspect. On November 25, 2013, a male subject entered the Vermillion Liquor Store and stole (2) bottles of liquor. On December 02, 2013, the same subject entered Speedee Mart and stole (2) cases of beer. Each time the subject was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a multicolored emblem on the front. The individual has been identified by witnesses as Native American or Hispanic, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” and weighing approximately 190 to 200 pounds. In both incidents the suspect obtained the alcohol, approached the counter, told the clerk “he need(ed) to check with his friends” then took the alcohol out of the store. Once out of the store, the suspect left on foot.
