Traffic Alert –Several road closures till 11:00PM in the City of La Puente for Holiday Parade/Tree lighting Ceremony.
Several road closures on December 6th, 2013 in the City of La Puente till 11:00PM for the city's annual Holiday Parade/Tree lighting Ceremony.
Vehicles will not be allowed to drive through the route once the parade has begun. If there is an emergency and you must exit, please request assistance from city personnel located at the intersections.
Roads closed for the parade will be:
1. Glendora Avenue southbound to Main Street (including all roads that intersect with Glendora Avenue).
2. Main Street eastbound to Stimson Avenue (including all roads that intersect with Main Street).
3. Stimson Avenue southbound to Central Avenue.
All roads for these festivities will be closed until December 6th, 2013, 11:00PM

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the festivities, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. The parade will feature local float entries, school marching bands, cheerleaders, Girls and Boy Scouts, and many more. Immediately following the parade, the Mayor and City Council Members will ring in the holiday season by lighting up the tree.
The Old Town Puente Association will also have activities such as rides, bouncers, and much more after the tree lighting ceremony.
