Maypearl Police Dept advises you to AVOID FM 66 from 916 to Eubanks. The hill to the Cowboy Church and the "S" curve is no longer passable due to heavy ice. We have had several vehicles slide off the road tonight and as the weather deteriorates so will road conditions. TxDOT has advised they will NOT be sanding 66 or 916 as they are concentrating all resources on the Interstate, 67 and 287. Due to high call volume tow trucks are backed up and all emergency response (Police, Fire and EMS) times will be longer than normal due to road conditions. PLEASE help us help you by staying off the roadways unless it's an emergency.
