Franklin, TN – Officers were summoned to the Hillsboro Road Kroger Sunday morning after receiving a report that a vehicle was stuck on a pole. Officers arrived at around 3:30 am to find two men standing outside of a vehicle that had run over a handicapped sign in the parking lot. The vehicle’s front end was suspended 3’ in the air, atop the steel sign post.
The driver, 34-year-old Jacob Allen Crawford of Grinnell, IA was drinking at a nearby bar just prior to the crash. Crawford, charged with DUI and Reckless Driving, is free on a $2,500 bond and due in court 12/19/2013 at 1:00 pm.
