Franklin, TN – Franklin Police Officers joined Housing Authority staff and resident volunteers today at their Spring Street Community Center for lunch. Evening and Midnight Shift officers are set to join them for food and fellowship during their shifts, later tonight. This is the second year that the Franklin Housing Authority has hosted a Franklin Police Appreciation Day, in recognition of a great and growing partnership.
Executive Director Derwin Jackson said, “We appreciate all of the support, and the partnership that we have with Chief Rahinsky and his Department.”
“We are honored that the Franklin Housing Authority and its resident volunteers take their time to do this,” said David Rahinsky, Chief of Police. “Our officers have had the opportunity to build some solid relationships through their every-day service in this neighborhood. It’s a real testament to what we can do when we work together.”
