On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, Lake Elsinore Police Detectives arrested Reynaldo Rodriguez for multiple counts of fraud, totaling over $80,000. Rodriguez committed fraud by posing as a legitimate construction contractor and soliciting work. Once a quote was provided and monies were paid, Rodriguez either completed very little work or no work at all. Rodriguez conducted business under the name “R&R Construction” or “Ray’s Hardscapes.” Rodriguez was ultimately booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
