Franklin, TN – An update on this afternoon’s 3:20pm crash that closed the portion of Mack Hatcher, between Lewisburg Pike and Royal Oaks Boulevard: A Hummer traveling north on Mack Hatcher, for reasons unknown, crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a southbound Chrysler.
The Hummer then rolled over and struck a third vehicle. The driver of the Chrysler was transported to a Nashville hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Hummer was transported to the Williamson Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the third vehicle was not injured. Traffic investigators do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor. Officers plan on citing two drivers for a variety of offenses.
The affected area of Mack Hatcher re-opened at 4:43pm.
