Ruse Entry Burglary Alert - Bensenville Police Department
The Bensenville Police Department is investigating a ruse entry residential burglary that occurred on 12/09/13 at approximately 0900 hours. The offenders approached the 64 year old resident and offered to plow his driveway.
When the resident went inside his house to retrieve the payment, one offender followed the resident inside uninvited. The offender then had the resident fill a bucket of water to complete the job. While the resident was filling the bucket, he observed other offenders inside his residence. The resident later learned that jewelry and collectible quarters were stolen.
The main offender was described as a male Hispanic, 40, 6'01", medium build, and unshaven. The other offenders were described a male Hispanics, one being approximately 20, and the other slightly younger. The main offender referred to the other offenders as his sons. The offenders left in a white full size older model truck with a snow plow attached with an attached ladder rack.
