Emergency Snow Ordinance 
The Clarinda Police Department wants to remind you the the emergency snow ordinance goes into effect as soon as 2" of snow/ice accumulates on the city streets. Absolutely NO PARKING is allowed until the streets have been plowed curb to curb. If you have no off street parking available, you may parking on the terrace(right of way) until the streets have been plowed. Your cooperation is appreciated and tremendously aids in the efficient removal of snow from the streets. Stay safe and it sounds like a great weekend to stay indoors.
