There is a Freezing Rain Advisory now in effect until 7 PM with ice accumulations of around one quarter of an inch.

The freezing rain will continue through early evening.

Freezing rain will cause ice to accumulate on exposed surfaces. Roads and sidewalks will become very slippery and make driving and walking difficult. Tree limbs and power lines will likely see accumulations.

Snapped limbs could pose a danger to those outside and could lead to power outages.

If you encounter any downed lines, please call your local fire department, do not attempt to move, go over or under any downed lines.
