#LASD Homicide Detectives Investigating Shooting Death on 12400 Blk of Bullis Rd, Lynwood 
Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 34 year-old man on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in the 12400 block of Bullis Road, Lynwood.
Detectives have learned that at approximately 8:10 PM, a deputy from the Century Sheriff's Station was patrolling in the area when he heard the sound of gunshots. The deputy drove in the direction of the gunshots and when he reached the location, he was flagged down by a witness who pointed out the victim, who was lying in the northbound lane of Bullis Road suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to the witness, the victim and the suspect had stopped and exited their respective cars in the middle of the road and began arguing with each other. Suddenly, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim. The suspect then got into his car and drove away northbound on Bullis Road. The suspect was described as a tall male black, driving a red sedan.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The murder weapon and the suspect are still outstanding at this time. There is no further information available at this time.
