Franklin, TN – At 11:47 this morning, officers were summoned to the 600 block of Cherokee Place for a reported shooting. Dispatch updated responding officers that a 4-year-old had been shot and was being transported from the scene to the hospital in a private vehicle.
The 4-year-old victim appears to have suffered a non-life-threatening injury after being shot in the hand. An investigation into the shooting is underway and more information will be released as it becomes available. Police are not currently seeking anyone in connection with this shooting.
